From the surfers in search of the perfect inland wave - to rapid response aid for immigrants, Jess Ratty explores the progress being made by crowd-funding projects around the world. Working in the alternative finance industry for the last two years, Jess has seen gigantic growth as communities have created new opportunities and a new world of democracy.
